Wore this on a windy hike last weekend and my ears stayed warm the whole time, which I honestly wasn't expecting from something this light. The vintage fit sits lower on my head than my old beanie, so no more tugging it down every few minutes.

The ripcord thermal lining actually kept my ears warm without making me sweat on a 50-degree afternoon walk. Fit is roomier than a standard ball cap, which works fine if you like that vintage slouch. Just wish the brim were a touch stiffer.
