Wore it on a 90-minute ride and the crown genuinely seemed to relax as I warmed up, then snugged back down once I cooled off at the car. The hand-oiled finish has a nice matte look that doesn't glare in photos. Only thing I'd change is wishing it came with a spare liner.

The crown fibers actually loosened up the moment I started hiking uphill, then hugged my head again once I cooled down on the ridgeline. The hand-oiled finish gives it a rich, almost leathery feel that I keep running my fingers over. It's become my go-to for every cold morning walk.

Took this out in near-freezing wind and the crown fibers really did tighten up around my head—no icy gaps at all. The hand-oiled finish feels broken-in from day one, like a hat I've owned for years.
